This 24 hour long concert will have no breaks in music, and will take place inside an installed vibe zone at The Hippodrome. There will be psychedelic projections and ambient tone bursts from the largest Jamm Squad in Portland psychedelic history (featuring members of White Rainbow, Valet, E*Rock, Strategy, Rob Walmart, Dark Yoga, Jackie-O Motherfucker, and 71,000,000 other local drone/psychedelic/ambient bands TBA...)
This concert/installation is also a celebration of the new collection of ambient recordings by Strategy, entitled Music for Lamping (Audio Dregs Recordings) as well the release of Ambient Not Not Ambient compilation (Audio Dregs Recordings) which features such local musicians as White Rainbow (as heard in this clip), Valet, Yellow Swans, Grouper, E*Rock and Smoke & Mirrors .

PRISM FACTORY REBIRTH

PRISM FACTORY is an alteration project I started a couple of years ago but in the midst of doing the store put on the back burner. But that fire never died and is now deep in the blood! I have been working with vintage sweaters and doilies and am going to have a new batch of items for sale ASAP. There is a small batch at RAD SUMMER right now so if you are jonesin for a vintage rock mini dress or a handmade vintage sweater dress ride your unicorn over and check them out. I will be posting new pics of said items in the next couple of weeks as Rhys is going to work his magic and provide some camera love next week. I got some MAD STYLE to throw down, did another sesh' with Rhys Balmer and Kenna Gair. The On line Fashion magazing-MAD STYLE-offers you the chance to not just dream of having the amazing outfits you see, but actually having them! You know how it is to scrutinize and wonder how or where they got the amazing gear (in any fashion magazine)-Well amazing gear is soon to be here, I am hoping but won't yet put it on the peeps that others with the eye for insatiable fashion-visions will also be contributing,.... Aaand in the back (of the magazine) will be like old school comic books or biker mags' where they show Crazy-bada###s t-shirts that you can order, you know who finds-and wears the most amazing of those shirts-Brux Blackhawk-I 'm hoping him and I can put together the besstest of the restest shirt designs-and offer them catalog style like this. It's kinda of a master plan/production but I think there is a collective unconscious that trickled out of Fidel Castro teaching Hugo Chavez-how to RULE. Meditation and open airways hopefully will always give rise to the implementation of vision-yes! I will give you peeks as the process unfolds. So far i have 10 pages of amazing women (ladies if you prefer) wearing the first round of VLF-White Magic Cake Outfits. .....As the weather changes I find myself seeking out my new clothing era-the new items that will crawl their way to the top of my favorite items to wear list, the ones you sleep in and wear for three days straight. I love watching the evolution of a wardrobe-things come, and things go-but they all represented you in that moment of your life.

today is so beautiful and warm winds, breezy, easy in portland. bbq season has officially started. to honor this amazing day, little zach has put up his new era art at rad summer. come be with us now...actually any minute! the fun starts at 7pm. after that we will converge at dewey' s house, across the street for a show of inca ore, machete and plankton wat. portland tryppers delight, double header Xtreme. MEOW!

Just finished a knitting project last night: a giant Bam Bam/Slits style purple bow for my dollophead bun! Don't be surprised to see me knocking around town with Spring-style mud all over me yipping for revolution.
