I am still waiting for the moment where I don't WANT to be at RAD SUMMER. the day where I am all, I have to wooooork? But it still has yet to come. I love hangin' out on my days off, love talking to all of the people who come in, I'd bet my dog our customers are a part of a magical commune. I love hearing people trip out when they open the door to the dressing room (thanks Jen!) or watching people bliss out on one of Honey's handmade dresses/shirts. thanksgiving is now

last night a bunch of us hung out at holocene watching white rainbow and the plants. fun times. i listened transfixed while maria told tale of how she had just tried to stop a street fight a block away and almost got taken down by some huge dude. she single-handedly saved some girl from getting her head bashed in. she escaped with only a swollen lip. that's what you can do when you're a 6ft super model. maria is SO COOL! heart bubbles. then brian slaughter reminded me of this funny video adam and i made.

My sweet friend DJ Maxxbass called this incredible gem to my attention; the harp stylings of Dorothy Ashby. Maybe it's cheesy to be into an artist because she also has the name Ashby, but damn. She's legit groovy. I uploaded a track here called Soul Vibrations. I hope you dig it on this blustery November Saturday.

In an update, been playing a lot of guitar lately...to the point that I didn't even realize that I sit down to it as soon as I get home. Influenced a lot by Love, this song Stranger by the Kinks, and the classical jam Peer Gynt. Also bought a copy of Dog Fancy and have been working diligently on drawing furry forms.

The time has come for me to nesstle in a new nest but have yet to find one. If anyone know of a studio/1 br/basement that is available please let me know! I would prefer to stay in the inner SE of portland, AND I have a small pug. Other than that life has been all different colors lately, Honey and I have been putting energy into the behind the scenes "back room" and it will soon be LOUUUUUUUUUNGE VIBE! We also got a TV/VCR so we will be playing old and rad vhs at the store-bring popcorn and chill! The store is filling in, more RECORDS! more SHOES!
